Why I chose UNC:
Working at both UNC and WakeMed provides a unique opportunity for significant experience at a large academic center and busy community hospital. This combination of training sites provides a fantastic opportunity to become a well-rounded EM physician. There are a lot of other contributing factors including: EMS opportunities, research, mild winters, great area, and easy access to many outdoor experiences. Finally, and most importantly, the fantastic family of residents and faculty!
