On September 23rd, 2023 the Age-Based Genomic Screening Project Team collaborated with Faith Action at their Fall Festival: Viva La Herencia. The organization partnered with local artisans, vendors, non-profits, consulates, and other organizations. Some of the offerings included cultural performances and presentations on topics such as immigration and family law.
We met many more people from the Triad while they took part in these festivities and learned more about their experiences in health and genetic screening. See below for some photos of us at the event with our developed educational content.
