On Sept. 28th, the Age-Based Genomic Screening Team visited the Spanish Heritage Month Event hosted by Miles Magnolia in Louisburg, NC! At this event we engaged in general genetics and genomics education with over 100 Louisburg residents as well as connected with partner organizations that serve rural communities to expand our network and reach to this population. This will help us hear from populations in rural settings, ensuring we meet their unique needs on our quest to make genetic screening widely available and accessible to everyone!
