The Department of Genetics, the Curriculum in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB), and the Curriculum in Genetics and Molecular Biology (GMB) held a scientific retreat on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at UNC's Friday Center in Chapel Hill, NC.

Dr. Xihao Li (Assistant Professor of Genetics & Biostatistics) and Yiyan Zhang (Bioinformatics and Computational Biology Graduate Student in the lab of Yun Li, UNC Genetics) are authors on a newly published manuscript titled “A scalable framework for identifying allelic series from summary statistics”.
