Dr. Jeremy Purvis Awarded NSF Grant

Jeremy Purvis, PhD (Associate Professor, Genetics and Computational Medicine) has been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled “Toward a revised model of the cell cycle that captures reversible and irreversible arrest”.

UNC School of Medicine NIH Funding Ranks 6th among Public Universities

All six basic science departments rank in the top 10 in National Institutes of Health funding for federal fiscal year 2022, according to a new report by the Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research, and 11 clinical departments rank in the top 30. The UNC Department of Genetics is ranked first among peer public schools of medicine.

Dr. Christoph Rau Awarded R01 from NHLBI
