Dr. Qingyun Liu (Assistant Professor, Genetics) has been selected to participate in the 2025-2026 Leadership in Academic Medicine Program (LAMP). 

Dr. Eric Hurwitz, postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Dr. Melissa Haendel (Distinguished Professor, Genetics), is the first author on a new paper titled “Unlocking the potential of wear time of a wearable device to enhance postpartum depression screening and detection: cross-sectional study”, published in the journal JMIR Formative Research.

Yun Li, PhD (Professor, Genetics and Biostatistics) is a co-corresponding author together with Quan Sun (Biostatistics doctoral candidate) on a new review paper published in the American Journal of Human Genetics, titled “Opportunities and challenges of local ancestry in genetic association analysis”.
