Genetics Department ranks 3rd nationally for NIH Funding

The annual Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research report on NIH Funding to US Medical Schools lists the UNC Chapel Hill Department of Genetics as the 3^rd ranked Genetics Department with $44,120,400 in funding.

This is an increase from the previous year, when the Department ranked 6^th nationally. Among public universities, UNC Chapel Hill Department of Genetics ranks 1^st in NIH Funding.
