Dr. A. Gregory Matera, Professor, iBGS/Department of Genetics, received a new five-year, $3.3M grant from NIGMS entitled “Ribonucleoprotein biogenesis and epigenetic gene regulation”.
This R35 “Outstanding Investigator Award” (PAR17-094) is focused on using innovative model systems to address connections between eukaryotic chromosome packaging, ribonucleoprotein assembly and pre-messenger RNA processing.
