Dr. Karen Mohlke (Professor, Department of Genetics) has been reappointed for an additional five years as an Oliver Smithies Investigator, in recognition of her continued contributions to the UNC School of Medicine, impact of her research program and mentorship efforts to support junior faculty and graduate students.
