Michael Lafferty, BCB Graduate Student in Dr. Jason Stein’s laboratory, has been selected to attend the Leena Peltonen School of Human Genomics program in Switzerland on August 18-22, 2019.
This is a multi-day program in which graduate and postdoctoral trainees gather with leading experts in the field for highly interactive discussions and presentations on cutting-edge topics in human genetics and genomics. Participants also receive one-to-one mentoring on areas of professional development in genomics. The program is currently in its 12th year, and is named after Dr. Leena Peltonen (1952-2010), an internationally renowned Finnish geneticist.
