The award letter noted Dr. Giusti’s academic and professional achievements, commitment to research, and principled goals.

In response to this award, Dr. Giusti notes, “I believe that participating in the Mentoring Institute for Neuroscience Diversity Scholars (MINDS) program will provide me with valuable mentoring opportunities and formative training on critical skills to become a successful faculty member. As a mentee of this program, I will have the opportunity to participate in essential professional development activities, interact with both underrepresented junior faculty members, as well as with established scientists and mentors, and to reconnect with the neuroscience community.”

Congratulations to Dr. Giusti for this outstanding recognition!
