Student Services

As the Administrative Director of Student Affairs I oversee the employees and office environment for the Department of Health Sciences Office of Student Services. The Office of Student Services supports the members of the student body throughout their Health careers. All student-related issues funnel through this office, and most activities that involve students, including Orientation, Semester Welcome-Back Events, and Graduation are organized here. The Office of Student Services manages student data, supports clinical education, assists with course evaluations, and offers financial aid counseling. In addition to my supervisory duties, I help conduct student services for the Neurodiagnostics and Sleep Science and other new programs when needed including admissions, registration, enrollment verification, and graduation.

My work consists of managing clinical contracts and affiliation agreements the Department of Health Sciences and numerous facilities nationwide have established. I primarily focus on agreements for Physical and Occupational Therapy.

I am the Clinical Education administrator in the Office of Student Services, Department of Health Sciences. I handle compliance, immunizations and clinical rotation onboarding process for the health sciences students.

Amy provides essential administrative support to the Department of Health Sciences, playing a key role in communications, student services, and event coordination. She supports all Divisions and the Department with a wide range of marketing and communications efforts, including managing social media, creating promotional materials (flyers, banners, and more), updating the website, and capturing department stories through photos and news features.

In addition to her communications work, Amy supports accreditation across all divisions and offers vital support for student services. She also helps plan and execute department events..

I am the Administrative Assistant for several programs in the office of Student Services in Health Sciences. I work with undergraduate and graduate students in Radiologic Science, Occupational Therapy & Occupational Science, and Speech & Hearing Sciences to guide them through the admissions, registration, and graduation processes during their time at UNC.

Krislyn is an administrative support specialist for the Department of Health Sciences Physician Assistant Program. She assists students with admissions, enrollment, registration, and graduation during their time at UNC. Additionally, she serves as support staff for the PA program directors and faculty.

My work consists of managing clinical contracts and affiliation agreements the Department of Health Sciences and numerous facilities nationwide have established. I primarily focus on agreements for the following programs: Audiology, Clinical Lab Sciences, Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling, Neurodiagnostic and Sleep Sciences, Radiology, Sonography, as well as Speech and Hearing Sciences. I work alongside OPSCA and OUC to process renewals and new requests for agreements and act as a liaison between the department and the divisions during the execution process. I also assist in collecting and managing data for student services and managing locker assignments for incoming students.

As a student service specialist within the Department of Health Science at UNC, I play a pivotal role in supporting both undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science, Master of Clinical Laboratory Science, Human Movement Science, and Doctor of Physical Therapy programs. My responsibilities include guiding students through the complexities of admissions, ensuring a smooth registration process, and facilitating their graduation pathways. I assist with each student’s unique needs, addressing inquiries and concerns while actively working to enhance their academic experience.
