About
Cassi Frank, PA-C, MMSc, CPPS, works with the Benign Hematology group at UNC Eastowne. She provides care in the DVT Clinic for patients with newly diagnosed venous thromboembolism (VTE) and iron disorders. She is passionate about improving both access to care and care transitions within healthcare systems. Cassi has a passion for public health and is pursuing a Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is the Director of Quality and Patient Safety for the Department of Medicine and works with national organizations on anticoagulant stewardship efforts. Her research interests focus on human factors in artificial intelligence-based clinical applications.
