Patient Care Overview

The UNC Division of Hematology is nationally and internationally recognized in benign hematology as well as our cancer immunology treatments (bone marrow transplant and CAR-T cell therapy). Faculty members are widely recognized for their expertise and clinical skills in treating hematological malignancies. Our medical physicians work closely with a large group of immensely talented Advanced Practice Providers to provide optimal patient care for the individuals that we manage. Please contact us to schedule a clinic appointment at one of our locations.

Patient Visits

Most patients are seen in person at one of our three Triangle clinical locations. We also see patients in several satellite clinics across the state, as well as via telemedicine.

Clinical Trials

We work closely with the Division of Oncology to expand the opportunities of patients to participate in groundbreaking clinical research by taking part in clinical trials that are housed in the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center or the Blood Research Center. These trials offer patients access to novel, cutting-edge research treatment that is often not available outside of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
