Clinic Appointments
UNC Geriatrics typically sees patients who are 65 and older. However, we do see patients under 65 if they’re experiencing age-related issues – dementia, falls, incontinence, or other geriatric syndromes.
Referrals from a primary health care provider or a specialist are helpful, but are not required to make an appointment.

We can generally see new patients within one to two weeks. If you need an appointment immediately, we often have same-day availability with different providers or with one of our Geriatric Nurse Practitioners.
For appointments call 984-974-6599.
Our fax is 984-974-2680.
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm.
If you are new to UNC Health Care, please download our new patient and medical authorization forms (links below). Print and fill out these forms and bring them to your first appointment.
