About

Anne W Beaven, MD specializes in the treatment of patients with all types of Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin lymphoma. Cutaneous (skin) lymphomas, such as mycosis fungoids and Sezary syndrome, are of special interest to her and she is the hematology lead/developer of the UNC Multidisciplinary Cutaneous Lymphoma Clinic. In addition to taking care of patients in clinic, she leads many clinical trials for patients with lymphoma. She is extensively involved in the development of the UNC Lineberger CAR-T therapy program. CAR-T is an exciting approach that uses a patient’s own immune system to help fight their lymphoma; Dr. Beaven’s focus is on developing these trials for T cell lymphomas.
