About

Brianne has been passionate about oncology care since beginning her career in 2005 as a Physician Assistant.  After a brief time with Urologic Oncology at the NIH, she returned to North Carolina and worked at Duke University in cancer clinics around the state of North Carolina, bringing oncology access to nine clinics across the state.  She then transitioned to Bone Marrow transplant, initially at Duke, then with the UNC Bone Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy program.  This is where she became extensively involved with the CAR-T immunotherapy program, which is her primary interest.  She finds it great satisfaction in seeing the remarkable advances that are continuing to be made in this cutting-edge field.  Her career goals are to help advance CAR-T and cellular immunotherapy care and expand access to reach as many patients as possible for both research and commercially available CAR-T therapies.

Outside of work, Brianne spends as much time as possible with her husband and two boys hiking, gardening, reading, and traveling the world.
