About

Mika is a nurse practitioner who cares for patients undergoing stem cell transplants and cellular therapies. A strong advocate for patient safety, she has led and contributed to several quality improvement initiatives within the hospital setting, including fall prevention and reducing central line–associated bloodstream infections.

Outside of work, Mika enjoys hiking, kayaking, traveling, exploring new restaurants around the Triangle area, and spending time with family and friends.
