Cardiology fellow Sameer Arora has a new review in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. The paper, “Premature Ticagrelor Discontinuation in Secondary Prevention of Atherosclerotic CVD,” shows that premature discontinuation of ticagrelor, a cornerstone of modern antithrombotic therapy, is common and is associated with adverse events.
