Dr. Darren DeWalt announced Julie Golding, Residency Program Coordinator, as the inaugural recipient of the Pulse of Medicine Staff Award. This award honors a Department of Medicine staff member who demonstrates exceptional dedication to their role, consistently exceeds goals, goes above and beyond their job responsibilities, and takes ownership of their work. The recipient collaborates with colleagues, fosters a positive work environment, and effectively addresses challenges. They make significant contributions to the department’s success while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
This initiative stems from feedback gathered in the SHARE survey and is one of the DOM Teammate Council Sense of Belonging initiatives. The Pulse of Medicine Staff award provides $1,000 to the award recipient.
