My research is focused on gene delivery by lentiviral vectors. We study the effects of host factors on gene delivery. We employ lentiviral vector libraries shRNA and cDNA. We characterize the safety and efficacy of in vivo gene delivery. We are part of UNC Gene Therapy Center.

My clinical focus is pediatric anesthesia and pediatric pain medicine. I am heavily involved in education and curriculum development. Additionally, I am involved in faculty development.
