Hannah Coletti, MD, MPH

We are excited to announce Hannah Coletti, MD, MPH has been named Associate Director of Medical Student Education in Pediatrics. Dr. Coletti is an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Her roles will include co-leadership of the Care of Special Populations course, integration of pediatric curricula within the School of Medicine, pediatric career advising, and mentorship of trainees interested in medical education.

Dr. Coletti is a life-long Tar Heel, having graduated from the UNC School of Medicine after earning her undergraduate degrees in Biology and Linguistics with a Minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina. She also received her Master of Public Health with a focus in Heath Care and Prevention from UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health. After completing her Internal Medicine-Pediatrics residency at UNC, she served as Chief Resident before joining the faculty in 2019.

Dr. Coletti has demonstrated leadership and a passion for teaching throughout her time at UNC. Since becoming a faculty member, she has been consistently involved in the education of students, teaching several courses in the Foundation, Application and Individualization phases. She also precepts students in the Community-Based Longitudinal Care Course and precepts residents as an inpatient attending and in her Continuity and Same-Day Clinics.

Dr. Coletti will join the Pediatric Education Office and work alongside the Director of Medical Student Education, Dr. William Mills, Jr. and Pediatric Medical Student Coordinator, Lynn West. Dr. Coletti will begin her new position this fall.
