Neva Howard, MD was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics effective August 1, 2021. Dr. Howard has been a faculty member in Pediatric Emergency Medicine since 2014. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Howard is the Director of Learning Innovations within the UNC School of Medicine Office of Academic Excellence. In this role she develops methods to improve student learning skills, integration of concepts, and problem-solving skills related to performance and attitudes towards learning.
