Martha Perry, MD was promoted to Professor of Pediatrics effective February 1, 2023. Dr. Perry has been a faculty member in General Pediatrics & Adolescent Medicine since 2017. She is the Director of Outpatient Quality and Safety for UNC Children’s Hospital where she identifies and prioritizes strategic enhancements to outpatient quality and safety. Dr. Perry attended Princeton University for undergrad and the University of Massachusetts for medical school. She remained in New England to complete the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics. Dr. Perry then began her Adolescent Medicine Fellowship at the University of California at San Francisco before returning to Boston Children’s Hospital to complete the final six months of her training. In addition to her clinical roles, she is also a member of the Pediatric Education leadership team as an Associate Program Director. In this capacity she is a class advisor and director of the Adolescent Medicine rotation.
