Zachary Willis, MD, MPH
Zachary Willis, MD, MPH was promoted to Associate Professor of Pediatrics effective May 1, 2023. Dr. Willis has been a faculty member in Pediatrics since 2016. Dr. Willis is a specialist in pediatric infectious disease with particular interest in studying antibacterial resistance and is the Director of the Pediatric Antimicrobial Stewardship Program.
Dr. Willis received a BS in Chemistry from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in May 2005 and received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in May 2010. He completed a Pediatric Residency at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in June 2013. A clinical/research fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases was completed at Monroe Carrell, Jr., Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
