Children’s Specialty Care – Wilmington
We are excited to announce that Dr. Robert DiGiuseppe has been appointed the next Division Chief for Children’s Specialty Care in Wilmington. Dr. DiGiuseppe started with Coastal Carolina as a Neonatologist in 2011. Dr. DiGiuseppe grew up in South Carolina and received his undergraduate degree from Clemson University. He went on to earn his medical degree from MUSC and completed his Pediatric residency with Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital System in Greenville, SC. He went on to complete his fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Dr. DiGiuseppe currently leads regional nursery development and is engaged with the March of Dimes and other programs that support the health and wellbeing of our community. We are so pleased to have Dr. DiGiuseppe as part of the leadership team with UNC Children’s!
Michael Steiner, MD, MPH has recently served as the interim division chief for Children’s Specialty Care in Wilmington. We greatly appreciate his commitment and service to the team.
