Congratulations to Dr. Cheryl Giscombe (T-32 fellow), Dr. Susan Gaylord, Dr. Millicent Robinson (School of Nursing) and team for being awarded a Research Supplement to Promote Diversity in Health-Related Research from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities. This supplement to the currently funded R01 project entitled “THE HARMONY Study – A culturally-relevant, randomized-controlled, stress management intervention to reduce cardiometabolic risk in African American women – Diversity Supplement” will support Dr. Robinson’s work with the HARMONY team, providing the opportunity for additional research training and mentorship in culturally relevant interventions and development, research supervision, professional development, and comprehensive mentorship with funding beginning this month!
