About the Initiative
The PPMH Dissemination and Implementation (D&I) Science Initiative focuses on putting precision medicine research into everyday clinical care so patients can benefit from new discoveries. With support from NIH and NC TraCS, the initiative works with partners across UNC Health to use practical, evidence-based approaches and real-world data to bring research into practice, improve care delivery, and expand access to genomic and precision medicine. Illustrated below is how the PPMH D&I works with other efforts to turn complex science into personalized care.
