Dr. Ronald Chen is among the recipients of a UNC Health-E-NC* project grant entitiled “Improving Cancer Survivorship Care through Enhanced Communications and Coordination.” The study consists of two coordinated projects to both develop and evaluate a comprehensive approach to integrating primary and specialty oncology survivorship care for patients with breast, colorectal, lung and prostate cancer.

*Health-E-NC is a statewide effort to improve cancer outcomes for diseases that affect North Carolina’s citizens. Sponsored by the UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center and the University Cancer Research Fund, the effort is aimed at finding innovative approaches to cancer prevention, detection, diagnosis, treatment and survivorship, and spreading the latest and best evidence-based cancer information to health care providers, advocacy groups, cancer patients, their families and survivors.
