Radiation oncology residents Drs. Gregg Goldin and Seth Miller attended the American Society for Radiation Oncology’s (ASTRO) Advocacy Day, held in Washington, DC on April 29 and 30, 2013.
Advocacy Day provides radiation oncologists the opportunity to interact with policymakers and legislative experts and learn about important policy issues facing the profession, as well as the US health care system as a whole.
Dr. Goldin received an ASTRO Advocacy Day Travel Award to support his attendance, and Dr. Miller attended as part of his responsibilities as a member of the American Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology (ARRO) Executive Committee.
