Arielle Perez, MD, MPH is Associate Professor of Surgery, Director, UNC Hernia Center, and Associate Program Director, General Surgery Residency Program Division of General Surgery.
We wish her congratulations on acceptance to participate in the 2023-2024 Leading Transformation in Academic Medicine (LTAM). LTAM is described as “the most robust leadership development program the School of Medicine offers”.
The program lasts eight months, beginning with orientation, kick-off dinner, and a day-long retreat that will include a leadership style review using multiple evaluation instruments. Weekly sessions over the eight months will follow.
Dr. Perez is doing many great things within the Department of Surgery and School of Medicine.
