Congratulations to Philip Spanheimer, MD, Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Surgical Oncology. Dr. Spanheimer has been selected for the 2020-2021 SUS Junior Faculty Award, sponsored by the SUS Foundation, for his research project titled “TFAP2C Regulates Estrogen Responsive Transcriptomic States in Luminal Breast Cancer!

The Society of University Surgeons (SUS) was founded in 1938 and their mission is to support and advance leaders in academic surgery.
