On June 1st, UNC Anesthesiology teaching faculty joined peers from across the UNC School of Medicine (SOM) for the 2023 Academy of Educators (AoE) Evening of Scholarship. Each year, this event honors UNC SOM faculty excellence in teaching via induction of new AoE members and recognition of those who have completed AoE faculty development programs and promoted the AoE mission through leadership service. In 2023, UNC Anesthesiology was proud to have teaching faculty inducted as new AoE members, awarded as distinguished educators, and recognized as a graduate of an AoE faculty development program.
