Every year, UNC Hospitals administers the Press Ganey Medical Practice survey to solicit feedback from UNC Hospitals & UNC Faculty Physicians patients about their likelihood of recommending their provider’s practice to their friends and family. Physicians and APPs system-wide who receive highest recommendations on the survey are honored with the Award for Carolina Care Excellence. This year, UNC Anesthesiology is thrilled to have four anesthesiologists and one APP named to the 2025 UNC Hospitals & UNC Faculty Physicians Award for Carolina Care Excellence list. The 228 UNC Hospitals & UNC Faculty Physicians providers who were named to the list rank in the top quartile nationally for likelihood as a medical practitioner of being recommended to friends and family.
