Student Seminar Talks
November 15, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
You are invited to come to see the students from BIOC710 give their final presentations on Wednesday, November 1, and November 15. Our students are excited to share their research with the department.
One of the required courses in our department is 710 – Scientific Presentation. One aspect of this class is training for our students in giving oral presentations. The students practice their talks in class and then use the feedback from peers and instructors to improve their presentation. The second time they give their presentation is in front of a larger audience – in front of the entire department. Faculty and lab members are encouraged to come out to support our students.
