April 22 is Earth Day, a day where we celebrate this wonderful planet and where we demonstrate support for environmental protection. UNC and president Biden just announced ambitious goals for a more sustainable Carolina and country.
Please show your support and join our newly established Environmental Task Force for a small celebration of Earth Day, 3-4 pm on the lawn in front of GMB. We will have light refreshments, lawn games, some music – and most importantly some information on how to improve sustainability in our labs. Weather couldn’t be nicer – Earth clearly wants to be celebrated!
