Abstract:
Our research group is interested in engineering and studying ways information is stored in biological systems. This talk will present our efforts to engineer synthetic biology approaches to understand natural gene regulation by chromatin, and conversely applying natural molecular biology mechanisms to engineer synthetic storage of digital information in an in vitro DNA-based system.
