THE IMPACT OF 2020, BUILDING RESILIENCY, & PREVENTING SUICIDE

October 30, 2020 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm

We all are experiencing feelings of anxiety, fatigue, sadness, and anger this year. The social isolation and cumulative stress can increase mental health challenges, suicide rates and substance use. But there is hope! In this workshop, we will learn to tell the difference between normal reactions to stressful events and a person who is experiencing a mental health challenge. We will discuss how to have a conversation with someone we ‘ re worried about. Additionally, we ‘ll learn how to respond in helpful ways to our coworkers, family, and friends. Especially during these challenging times, we can promote mental wellness, prevent suicide, and improve our resiliency.

Zoom link will be emailed to participants before the event.
