Dr. Bergmeier’s laboratory will run an Animal Models Core for studies on the molecular mechanisms regulating the adhesion of platelets and inflammatory cells to endothelium/extracellular matrix at sites of vascular injury.
The total award is ~11M USD with >1.5M coming to UNC over 5 years!
