Alisa S. Wolberg, PhD, has been selected to deliver the Sol Sherry Distinguished Lecture in Thrombosis at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in November, 2021.
The Sol Sherry Lectureship honors the founder of the original AHA Council on Thrombosis. The Sherry Lecture is one of three Council on Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis and Vascular Biology (ATVB) named lectures presented annually at the American Heart Association’s Scientific Sessions, slotted in a session devoted to thrombosis. Honorees are selected by ATVB Council leadership and are invited to present a lecture on a topic of their choice. Dr. Wolberg’s lecture will be entitled, “Mechanisms in Thrombosis and Thrombus Stability.”
