You’re invited to the ISTH Virtual Workshop on Coagulation Disorders. This workshop is designed to offer training in the latest developments in blood coagulation, bleeding disorders, platelets and venous thrombosis.

Target Audience: 

This meeting is intended for:

• trainees in hematology, transfusion medicine, vascular medicine, or internal medicine
• a scientist or laboratory officer wishing to acquire clinical and basic knowledge in the field, or
• a senior hematologist looking for an update.

Objectives: 

By attending this workshop, participants will:

1. obtain an understanding of the latest developments in coagulation and bleeding disorder management.
2. learn to identify, diagnose and have knowledge of the latest treatment for patients with risk of thrombosis
3. have the opportunity to network with leading experts in the field of thrombosis and hemostasis, benefiting from the small training size (250 maximum participants)

The workshop will provide two full days of intense examination and discussions on the subjects of blood coagulation and bleeding disorders, platelets and venous thrombosis. Leading scientists with in-depth experience in education will lead the training workshop.

Format: The virtual workshop will include pre-recorded lectures from the speakers made available to all participants in advance, and the live meeting will consist of case presentations, flipped classroom group discussions and Q&A with the illustrious speakers.

Chairman: This workshop will be co-chaired by Dr. Ai Leen Ang, Dr. Lai Heng Lee and Dr. Eng Soo Yap.

Language:  All presentations will be presented in English.
