Areas of Interest

My research is focused on the study of the roles of Toll-like receptor 4 and NLRP3 inflammasome in lipopolysaccharide induction of tissue factor in human monocytes, monocytic cells and mice. In 2024 I was awarded an American Heart Association Postdoctoral Fellowship to study a C1 inhibitor variant as a novel hemostasis sparing anticoagulant.
