Areas of Interest

My main interest is focused on the mechanism of venous thrombosis associated with sickle cell trait under high altitude conditions. My second project aims to investigate the role of FXII in hemostasis. Additionally, in collaboration with Dr. Raj Kasthuri, we are investigating if there is a link between iron deficiency and activation of coagulation in hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia.
