Areas of Interest

I am interested in optimizing care of adults with sickle cell disease, specifically in identifying factors that predict end organ complications with the goal of providing early interventions. I am currently working on a project to assess for nocturnal hypoxia in pregnant women with sickle cell disease, and its effect on red blood cell characteristics.
