Areas of Interest

I'm interested in sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait, with a focus on the unique physiology and characteristics of red blood cells in individuals with trait. This understanding can reveal important clinical predispositions and help guide the development of effective treatment strategies. Currently, my role in the lab is primarily clinic-facing, where I focus on recruiting adults with sickle cell disease and sickle cell trait for several ongoing research studies
