Areas of Interest

My research centers around fibrinogen—a coagulation protein central to hemostatic clot formation. I am interested in: 1) how fibrinogen is genetically modulated to see its contributions in inflammatory/diseased states and 2) fibrinogen's interaction with Factor XIII towards as a novel therapeutic anticoagulant target!
