December 2007 – A hormone secreted by cells throughout the body and known to play a role in cardiovascular disease and other cell functions is also critical for proper formation of the lymphatic system in mice, according to Kathleen Caron, PhD, and colleagues.

  Ann Stuart, PhD Professor Ann Stuart, PhD, received the Educator of the Year Award given by the Faculty for Undergraduate Neuroscience (FUN). The current president of FUN, Bruce R. Johnson, PhD, of Cornell University, presented the award and acknowledged her work on the Neurons in Action software.
