Ectopic Attending Award to an educator outside of Emergency Medicine for outstanding dedication to teaching residents — Dr. Travis Honeycutt of the WakeMed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
Osler Award to the Attending Who Organized/Presented the Best Conference Module of the Year — Dr. Maglin Halsey-Nichols and Dr. Howard Choi, for organizing the orthopedics module for the 3rd year in a row.
Resident’s Scholar Award recognizing the senior and their mentor with the most impressive scholarly project and presentation given on Scholarship Day — Dr. Alex Fenn, mentored by Dr. John Kim, for the project entitled, “Improving Rates of Critical Care Documentation Through Clinical Decision Support.”
