Sharon Delaney McCloud, CDE®

Sharon Delaney McCloud is dedicated to empowering leaders with effective communication techniques, leveraging the power of words to drive business results. With a background in television journalism, including covering significant events from the Persian Gulf War to the Super Bowl, she has impacted people’s lives with her storytelling. Sharon’s career also includes co-founding Greenroom Communications, working with major brands, and later merging with Walk West, a digital marketing agency, where she developed media training and presentation coaching. She now serves as the Director of Corporate Communications at UNC Health, aligning her professional passions with the crucial healthcare industry.
Jennifer Swanson, MD, FACEP, ACC

Over the course of her physician career, Jennifer Swanson served as an executive leader in 4 different specialty areas of medicine: Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Occupational Medicine and Primary Care. While demonstrating clinical and operational success in those roles, Jennifer became impassioned with the training and development of aspiring leaders. In addition to reaching top decile national performance in quality of care and customer satisfaction in these organizations, she developed a number of promising candidates into confident competent leaders through orientation programs, workshops and coaching.
In 2021, Jennifer left her position as Associate Chief Medical Officer of Duke Primary Care to launch her own coaching and consulting business, Pocket Your Change. She now provides workshops, coaching and leadership training to individuals and organizations around the Triangle region. In 2024, she plans to open her new office and retreat space, HayLoft.
Jennifer balances career commitments with an active outdoor lifestyle that includes cycling and cooking for family and friends. She competes ponies in the sport of dressage at the local, regional and national level and especially enjoys relaxing on her own Laughing Stock Farm with her dogs Rosey and Maxine.
