Dr. David Corcoran (Assistant Professor, Genetics) received an Innovation Impact Grant from the North Carolina Biotechnology Center (NCBC) to purchase two state-of-the-art GPU compute nodes for the Lineberger Bioinformatics Core.
These resources will immediately enable several high-impact projects, including an ARPA-H initiative to build a virtual tumor board that integrates histologic and radiologic imaging with AI/ML methods to predict molecular subtype, recurrence, and pathologic complete response.
